Maple Cream Cheese Dessert Dip

Even though this was made for the pie crust cookies, you can use it for a vast amount of recipes. Fresh fruit (like strawberries and bananas) taste great with it, as does most types of shortbread or sugar cookies.

Tbh with you I dip things like potato chips and pretzels in the maple cream cheese dip because A. maybe I’m a weirdo and B. you can’t go wrong with salty and sweet.

If you would prefer your maple cream cheese dessert dip to be fluffier than the traditional recipe calls for, add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream and whisk it for an additional 5 minutes.

Final Notes…

Being such a fast recipe to whip up I love serving this at events, holiday get togethers, and parties. It makes a great addition to a snack table and there’s rarely leftovers when the day is done.

It’s so easily customizable to the time of year or event by simply changing the sprinkles. If you feel the maple is to autumnal, you can change out the maple syrup for 3 tbsps of any other syrup. Try a fruit syrup in the summer, a peppermint one for Christmas, or even a basic vanilla one for any time of year.
