Some Tools and Tips for Making Honey Lavender Cupcakes
- If you want to get a supremely delicious taste in lavender cupcakes, prepare the dried lavender yourself. It is a time taking process but yields excellent taste. To dry it for cooking purposes, cut the stems after the flowers have ripened. Now let them dry by hanging them upside down. Once dried, wash them thoroughly and dry roast to remove the floral fragrance. Once roasted, grind for a smooth finish.
- Skip all the above hassle and make your life easy. Use a readymade lavender powder and get a super taste. I use this powder when I have to make something off-season or don’t have the time to dry the fresh lavenders. Trust me; you will get the same results.
- To decorate the cupcakes perfectly and in a bakery style, you need a piping tip. Star piping tip works best for honey lavender cupcakes.
- Mixers are needed in a lot of recipes. If you are more of a baker than a regular cook, you need something professional, powerful, and with more features. A big one from KitchenAid will serve all your needs. However, if you are an occasional kitchen person, you don’t need to invest so much in a mixer. A small handheld mixer will be the perfect choice for you.
- If you don’t have silicone cupcakes liners with you already, it times you up to your cupcakes game. These liners are eco-friendly, sustainable, and will go a long way with you. Unlike the paper liners, you don’t need to replace them every time you bake some cupcakes.
- Are you looking for some mixing bowls to update your baking game? Check out the best ones. They come in three different sizes and a 2-yeat warranty. I have been using them for ages, and there are no complaints whatsoever.
- Need Piping Bags? Look no further. These bags are the best. They are thick and won’t leak, so don’t worry while squeezing them a bit harder. You can even work with them without a piping tip.
- Organic parchment papers are the best. They are safe to use, healthy and don’t affect our environment.
- A cupcake pan is needed for making cupcakes. With this pan, you can bake a maximum of 24 cupcakes at one time. It comes with a 10-year limited warranty. This pan fits in all standard ovens. We suggest you wash it with warm and soapy water before using it for the first time.
