Instructions

  • Begin by preheating the oven to 350°F/175°C. Line the baking sheets with silicone baking mats.
  • Add butter and sugar to a large mixing bowl and beat them for 5-8 minutes. Don’t stop beating until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

  • Add vanilla extract, food coloring, and milk to the butter bowl. Add in the egg and mix well. Keep on beating until everything is fully blended.
  • Add vanilla extract, food coloring, and milk to the butter bowl. Add in the egg and mix well. Keep on beating until everything is fully blended.
  • Empty the dry ingredients bowl in the butter bowl. Mix well until a dough is formed. This is the most important step in this recipe. You have to make sure that the dough is not too soft and not too hard. It must result in easy to squeeze dough and must not be too thin.
  • Add the white chocolate chip cookies over the dough.
  • Now scoop out 1-1.5 inch cookie balls on the baking mats. Push the baking tray in the oven and cook for9-12 minutes.
  • It is now time to pull out the baking tray. Add some more white chocolate chip cookies and let the cookies cooldown.
  • Once they get all stable and ready, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Note 1: If you want blue velvet cookies to be thicker after baking, freeze the dough for 30-45 minutes before baking.
Note 2: Make sure you clean out the mixing bowls before things get dry. It is not a good sight to have colored or dirty bowls later.
Note 3: To make the cookies appear more beautiful and tastier, push and spread more white chocolate chips after baking.
Note 4: Beating the butter and sugar together adds air to the dough. It makes the cookies chewy and fluffy.
